One day many years ago, Giorgio and Giuliana decided to change their way of life and pursue what had been for a long time their ....Tuscan dream! So they set out in search of their ideal farmhouse.
After some years of looking around, visiting dozens of places and about a hundred estates, and after becoming the "fairy tale" of their relatives and friends, it seemed more and more difficult to make their dream come true. But suddenly, just as happens in fairy tales, they discovered Eden: Podere Vignali.
Actually, at that moment, it was a rather particular kind of Paradise; the location, the lay-out, the view were Heaven, but all the rest was going to require at least a few years of Purgatory, with a lot of goodwill, ideas, inventiveness, such a lot of hard work and such a lot of patience.
Giorgio forgot forty years of professional accounting and became a "farmer " and Giuliana recycled herself, with full merit and good marks, from housewife to an agrituristic businesswoman, building assistant and interior designer.
They rolled up their sleeves and to give them a hand, as you might say, Tabù arrived, a "luprador " with one ear up and the other one down, and at least kept all the guests entertained with his funny doggy antics.
In record time, but respecting the local tradition in the choice of materials and without disturbing nature, together with patient and careful search of furniture and fittings, Giorgio and Giuliana have given Podere Vignali a new life, transforming it with further on-going improvments into the Paradise they had always dreamt of. And their guests never fail to exclaim on arrival that the real thing is far better than one imagines from the leaflets, catalogues and web sites.
